Ok, so. I am 6 feet tall, 16 years old, 210 pounds. I run two miles most days (if I have time), I lift weights, and I eat about 1800 calories per day. I have been doing this for a good two months now. Why, WHY haven't I lost any weight? It's mostly around my middle, some on my thighs and upper arms, some on my chest. Everywhere else I am very lean (little to no fat). I don't think it's medical, because I asked my doctor and he said "Eat right and exercise more. If that doesn't work, I don't know." (Crappy doctor.)

Who wants to play "Are you smarter than a Kaiser doctor?"

Two months isn't very long.

You aren't eating enough, and your body has gone into "starvation mode" and is conserving energy.

If you eat a normal healthy diet, and continue to exercise, you'll be fine.

You probably aren't fat at all. What you're seeing isn't fat.

You might want to talk to a counsellor, as you may be developing anorexia, which involves a distored body image where you THINK you're fat when you aren't.

Do NOT reduce your food below your current level.

Increase it a bit.

A good goal for healthy weight loss is 2 to 4 pounds a month.

You won't see results right away, but by 6 months you will.

Well, your gender plays a big part in this, but the best thing I can say is to try some multivitamins for a week and see how they do. Some people don't show any differences, but most show the pounds dropping like crazy. That's because it gives your body nutrients that don't or can't be supplied in your normal diet and keeps your body from eating at your muscle.
If you want a good sport to help lose wieght, I recomend Tennis. It works all your major fat-gaining areas and teaches balance and control. It is also easy to always find someone to play with.

find calorie/fitness calculator on the net, enter your stats and it will tell you how many calories a day you need to maintain your weight. take 300-400calories off that number and that's how much you need to lose weight.
eat 5-6 small meals a day instead of 3 big ones.
5-8 servings of fruit and vegetables a day.
8 glasses of water a day.
4-6 times a week cardio work out for 30-50min plus light weight training.
no junk food, no sodas, no white flour (white bread, pasta, cookies, cakes etc)

It looks as if you're in a plateau.

http://www.idespisescams.com has a really awesome resource (the first one there, Fat Loss 4 Idiots I think it's called). I read it, and it's now my weight loss bible - helped so much!! I just lost 20 pounds, have 12 more to go.

It'll tell you about how to jump past the plateau via cycling calories and a trillion more things.

Hm, drink 80 ounces of water a day. That should clean your system out.

And drink a hot cup of lemon water every morning.

And a great lunch is tuna, put apple cider vinegar in it, and put that on lettace.
