I don't think you could justify one person of wisdom as the example of his organization, especially assuming this individual may give the people the answers they want to hear, as opposed to the best. However your not typically going to vote best answer on the one that makes you look stupid.

As for denominations, Catholic does contain the deepest roots and most fortunate of histories. Seeing as all the other denominations broke of from Catholicism for a not so strict form, ie. Protestants, etc. they can likely be seen as Christian light or Ala carte Christians. The amount of divisions in the Christian world is not surprising, the Jews before them were just as divided, endlessly fighting amongst each other, unable to fend of their conquerors. You will also find that the Catholic cannon has more books than the NIV/KJV versions of the bible which are also poorly translated. NRSV is typically the better version and can often be found with apocryphal or lost books that were removed in the denominational splits.

It only means it's the best path for him, and that he believes strongly enough in it to answer a lot of questions. There is no ONE "best" path. As long as we end up at the same destination, who cares what path we take to get there?

I'd say Catholicism is the best path...but it has nothing to do with imacatholic2 being the best answerer!

First to start on the same page, Catholics are often (not always) led to believe they are a religion themselves (it is a sect of Christianity).

Only Jesus can show you the right path. If you never attended church again in your life because of circumstances or something will that automatically make you a lesser Christian? Our Christian life starts and ends with Jesus and his teachings passed down through the Bible.
As we reflect on Easter let us remember the basics!
Christ died for us and our sins and it is only through him (faith) not our actions that will get us to him, heaven and everlasting life. Take away the crucifixion and you have nothing. The Crucifixion is what gives everything prior to and after wards meaning in Christianity and the Old Testament. The Bible not Catholicism and your answers determine this. The Bible is not called the greatest book ever written for nothing. God is love. He is everywhere.

Kait is completely wrong - Catholics DO believe that Jesus Christ is sufficient for salvation.

And Catholicism is a beautiful religion.

No, it simply means he cheated his way to the top by marking all of his answers with the phrase "With love in Christ" and then went back and voted for himself later on. Take a look at his profile, most of his best answers come from voting questions.

No. It just means that they answer questions a lot. And just because someone gives them a best answer doesn't necessarily make it so.

Never seen him or her, can't comment. Funny that, really, seeing as I hang around here a whole lot more than is good for me.
