This bm every 2 weeks is quite unhealthy for the rest of your body. You must be very swollen and uncomfortable. All I can do, really, is ask more Q's: Have you ever had a stroke? Are you in a wheelchair? Are you on pain meds? Latent BM's can often be a side effect of strokes and other neurological problems. Do you eat fruits and veggies too? Have you tried other methods such as enemas and even (with medical intervention--high colonic treatments)? Perhaps you need to have your abdomen MRI'D for any type of blockage. There could be a build up of scar tissue from the c-sections, causing pressure on your bowel. I'm not sure how--but you never know. And you should probably try not to get preg any more as best as you can. You really need to leave much more of a medical history and symptoms list for this question to be answered safely--in fact--I'd skip Yahoo 360 altogether and see a Gastrologist, or another practitioner of internal medicine sooner than in one month--if possible. They will ask all sorts of stuff like a complete assessment of your periods and your diet etc--if they are on the up and up. Be proactive--come with the list in your hand and stsart discussing it with the doc.Start charting everything ... Your temp ... your complete diet--the amount and type of bm's ... all meds taken illegal or otherwise--and on and on and on. If there is any blood in the stools you evacuate go to the emergency room.

Start now--by cataloging ALL your symptoms. and all of the above: All sorts of stuff needs to be recorded and shown to the DOC--before any answers she/he might formulate.
Really, only medical proffessionals should touch this Q--not to scare you, as it really could be something mundane, just some build up of scar tissue from the 4 c-sections which will likely need another operation to remove. Could even be benign polyps inside the bowel that are blocking the exit of fecal material. So don't stress too much: scar tissue and polyps are more common than most folk realize. Best of luck and be sure to be very exact in answering the Docs. Q's and in making out your list of complaints and the type, amt. and consitency and odor of your bm's--date them on a claender and be as descriptive as possible Chart your dietary intake faithfull as well. You must feel very toxic living like that so get help ASAP

Best Constipation Cures

My first question would be, how long has it been since you have had a BM. If it has been a few days and you are having severe cramping, I would suggest going to the ER or Urgent Care. If your bowels get to clogged it can cause toxins to build in your system, then you'd have real big problems. But my sugestion would be to try Glucomannan. It is a bulk forming laxative and promotes a larger, bulkier stool that passes through the colon more easily and requires less pressure—and subsequently less straining—to expel. Check out your local walgreens, walmart or pharmacy. You may even want to call your pharmacist, they may have some helpful sugestions too.

Hope you feel better soon! I know how it feels!!

Hi Lois.
If you want to use a natural cure for constipation you need to do a number of things relating to how you live your life and what your diet consists of. But unlike medicinal treatments and other treatment methods a natural cure is both a simple and easy to practice and have far less side effects than the others.

Dietary changes which a person suffering from constipation should make should include them eating more fiber which is found in fresh fruit (bananas, apples, papaya, grapes and oranges), fresh vegetables, whole grains and pulses. They should also ensure that they drink a minimum of 8 glasses of water each day.

Guava (but is must have the seeds) because of their roughness is a great way of getting relief from constipation.

Herbs such as Aloe Vera, Dandelion (Taraxacum Officinale) and the Passiflora Species are ones which have laxative properties and also help the digestive system as well as acting as a tonic for a person’s liver. These herbs can often be used in treating both chronic and occasional bouts of constipation and almost all of them have no side effects associated with them. warning: Menstruating or pregnant women should not use Aloe Vera, in any form, to relieve constipationLook article: http://www.askedweb.com/askedweb/Relieve_Constipation_With_Aloe_Vera/

Why not try following a proper a diet. If u're having too many pizzas, pastries, bread, cakes and those sort of stuff they literally jam ur system. I've suffered a lot too but taking in plenty of fibres and water helped me.

Eat plenty of raw fruits and veggies. Carrots, bananas, wholemeal bread, oatmeal ... etc have done wonders for me. I hope u give it a try. Also, 've some exerscise jogging, dancing. . . etc.

Having laxatives and such may actually make u depend on them for bowel movement, so try the healthy way. Hope u get better soon! God bless!

I think you really need to detoxify. Taking too much pills just add to the toxin overload. Once you start to cleanse and have regular bowel movements, you will begin to feel "lighter" and better.

Only a cleansing program can help you attain results fast. Any other types of diets or solution may just mean adding more to your already toxic body.

Think of it this way. You need to clear the rubbish bin of its rubbish. Continue to add more rubbish can cause a massive amount of overload and start to attract all kinds of insects and bacteria.
