How does this work? Am i just supposed to take the charge each one has and match it to the other, or is there something else?

It says : "Write the correct chemical formula for the compounds formed from each pair of ions:"

a. Zn2+ , SO42- _____________________

b. Na+ , CO32- _____________________

c. K+ , OH- ­­ _____________________

Use the "Criss cross" method. Take the ionic charges and assign them to the other ion

For example, your #`1, becomes ZnSO4
#2 becomes Na2CO3
#3 becomes KOH
