i have a high res. image that i'd like to convert to a pdf or jpg. how can i do that? my programs are not allowing me. what program do i need? any free software is preferable.

As of this writing, 4/3/07, there is a free, online converter. I have tried it. It is easy and does a good job.

Microsoft Paint is what I would use. Open the image and hit Alt+Print Screen, then go to Paint and Select Edit->Paste.
