How about the Iranian soccer game where 60,000 people chanted to kill them? Does any one out there still seriously think Iran is a civilized country?

I understand that these public chants of "death to America" or "death to England" are obligatory in Iran, and do not necessarily reflect the true feelings of the Iranian people.
But the government is not a civilized government, I'm with you there.
