The answer to your question is really going to vary a lot. First, I'm not certain if you are referring to Disneyland, which is located in California, or Disney World, which is in Orlando. Also, it will depend on the resort are wanting to stay at, and what time of the year. So, I will give you a little bit of a breakdown.

To stay at a Disneyland hotel (in Anaheim California)

Paradise Pier is the least expensive onsite resort and will cost you around $294.

Disneyland is the next most expensive onsite resort and will cost you around $375.

Grand California is the most expensive onsite resort and will cost you around $508 or so.

These prices aren't too exact, but that is an average price.

To stay at a Disney World hotel (in Orlando Florida)

A value resort will range from $82 to $141 depending on the room and time of year. Also, the Music resort has a family suite which runs from $179 to $285.

A moderate resort will range from $145 to $225 depending on the room and time of year. For a suite at Coronado you can spend from $330 to $1210.

A deluxe resort will range a lot more since there are so many views and also different cost level hotels. But, for the least expensive deluxe you will spend from $215 to $2735 depending on the room and time of year. For the top of the line resort you can spend from $375 to $2685.

The home away from home, or villas also have different price levels. But the least expensive ranges from $279 to $1595 depending on room and time of year. Then the most expensive is from $315 to $1105 depending on room and time of year.

Finally at Disney World you have the Wilderness Cabins, which range from $239 to $349 for a cabin or $39 to $92 for the campgrounds.

Again, price is going to vary a lot. These prices are per night for a room-only, without a discount. You can also get packages, find discounts, etc. so you should check directly with Disney or your travel agent to get accurate prices for your trip.

Check out the Fairfield Inn on Harbor Blvd, it is about 119 a night and is just as close as any Disneyland Hotel but a lot more reasonable.

Disney.com has loads of packages with detailed pricing. If you go...buy a package and stay INSIDE the park! It's soooooo much better than staying outside the park. Even though we saved money staying with a relative close by, it wasn't worth it! It was the biggest headache trying to get in and out of the park, traffic, toll and parking fees, ect, ect, ect. Come to think of it I bet it really wasn't cheaper when you add the gas, tolls, parking! Good luck!
