I am clueless as how to do this so I need an easy site that will let me post a video clip privately for family/ friends? I was looking at youtube but can I do this and restrict who sees it? I hope my question makes sense! LoL Thanks a bunch!

Through youtube for sure. After you add the clip (by browsing for it) you are asked to choose your video's settings:
Public: Share your video with the world! (Recommended)
Private: Only viewable by you and those you choose.
Email this video and enable access now to the contact lists below.
Family
Friends
You can manage your invites, etc. from 'My Account' where your inbox is, etc.

You can use youtube and restrict access to a select group (including your family).
They may need to sign up to be a member of youtube.com though (not just a guest).

You can use a program called Pando, and this will allow you to send files to friends. It is free and works well.

i belive myspace lets you upoload videos and have it private so only your friend or only ypu may see it.
