I hear that every pregnancy is different. With my first son I was violently ill from about 5-16 weeks. I am crossing my fingers that when I conceive again I will not have the same experience. Just curious about your experiences and how unique each pregnancy is. Thanks for sharing!

Yes it is different each time. The main cause of morning sickness is a combination of issues related to the chemical changes your body is going through. Mix a pinch of nutmeg powder with a table spoon of gooseberry juice, and take it thrice a day. Sip little by little ginger juice mixed with honey before you get out of bed. my first pregnancy I had no morning sickness at all. As a matter of fact when I first found out I was pregnant I didn't even believe the doctor, because everyone ssaid you get morning sickness. During the whole pregnancy I had pains constantly. Frightened like crazy that I was going to have a miscarriage. My second pregnancy I went two months with morning sickness everyday. I had no pain until the a week before she was born. I swelled up like a balloon. Every pregnancy is unique. This, I think, is a good thing though. You will remember each childs nine months in you and realize why they are unique!

I had horrible morning sickness with my first, I lost 45 lbs in the first 2 months. WIth my second my morning sickness was bad, and I only lost 25 lbs. With my 3rd (currently 35 weeks), I had very light morning sickness. Each pregnancy is different and my 3rd has been the worst so far, even though the morning sickness was minimal, that's been the only thing so far.

I was the opposite....didn't have anything with my first and then my second decided to teach me what it was all about to have morning sickness for 5 months(I refer to it as all day sickness as that is what it was) My third pregnancy I again had no morning sickness.

All 3 of my pregnancies were as different as night and day.

I am on the opposite side--I was barely sick with my first full term pregnancy, and have been violently ill this pregnancy. It's true, every pregnancy is different. There is no way to determine how your body will react until you are already pregnant.

Good luck!

Every pregnancy is different you might have morning sickness with one but not the other. Morning sickness is your body adjusting to being pregnant, none of us liked it but its apart of pregnancy. There are things you can do to help it, eatting crackers before you sit up, eat one of those pink pills, sorry I forget what there called. Read up on it on the web

With my son I didn't really have morning sickness. I got sick once a week and the funny thing was that I knew when it was gonna happen. It was the same time and same day every week. I had tender breasts and didn't really urinate much with him. With my daughter I didn't have any morning sickness, my breasts weren't tender at all and I was in the bathroom constantly.

yes. I was sick (all day sickness.. not just morning) with my first until the 6th month.

I didn't throw up a single time with my second. A little nauseas here and there though.
