lower taxes. Taxes is an attack on the middle and lower classes. How Dems and libs say the champion the working class and then advocate raising taxes is beyond me.

Follow the formula Bill Clinton tried to follow - tax breaks for the middle class, small business loans and actual grants for middle and low income people to dig themselves out of poverty. Make the rich pay their fair share and little bit more since they've had the breaks the last 8 years. Get the far right out of our schools and stop them from trying to control education by fully funding public schools instead of subsidizing private schools. Then find real ways to bring the poor to the work force without making them work 2 jobs just to have a roof over their heads, by giving all workers a living wage and health protection for the workers.

Taxation Without Representation Is Unfair.
The middle class pays more of a percentage of its income in taxes than the upper or lower income. Did you know in England that the upper class complains that it pays too high a tax, carrying the services for the poor. In the USA, the middle class carries that burden.
When will the middle class wakeup and realize that $$ alone doesn't elect an official ... the middle class vote is required. We cannot expect that an elitist elected official will voluntarily give up income for taxes. We must unite and either provide a candidate or demand of a candidate to support fair collection of taxes to support our government and its services.
Trickle down, trickle down, trickle ran dry ... didn't work. Taxation Without Representation Is Unfair.

Shift the tax burden back onto industry and off the backs of workers.
Support progressive politicians who favor things that benefit the middle class, such as single-payer national healthcare and the inheritance tax.
Even Bill Gates supports the inheritance tax and says it should be reinstated.
Our government is losing Billions in revenue so Paris Hilton can pay less taxes.

I wish you luck to eliminate the burdens placed upon the middle classes, because it is fading very very fast. Within your lifetime the U.S. will see the disappearance of the middle class, it will boil down to the very poor and the very rich. Mark this answer.

By getting more back from the rich. And some of you say I'm picking on the rich. OK.
But why do we bow to the rich. Their money isn't earned - a shop keeper works harder and longer. The new rich are mostly from sports and movies. Paying them so much is criminal.
What about people like Gates and Oprah? Its crazy how much money they have. Probably Dr. Phil too. Are they really worth this much? Don't get me Wrong I think Gates is doing a good job with his philanthropy. I don't think Oprah does she builds school and this and that but it is but a penance compared to her wealth and she likes to brag about it a lot. I don't know how much Dr Phil gives but he does help with treatments.
And then there is the Bush family and the like.

Off the top of my head I'd like to see the highest tax bracets pay more of their fair share.
As it stands now, they put politicians in their pockets and end up with thousands of ways to avoid being taxed as much of a % as the middle class.
I'd also like to see all big business in the US contribute more of their profits, such as Pfizer.
These companies make outrageous profits off of the American people and give very little back.

Just for starts, when a company does well & has huge
profits, instead of giving the CEO's a million dollar bonus,
they should try paying their employees a more livable wage.
For instance - WalMart & every giant grocery store I know of.
