He's a conservative who did GREAT things as speaker of the house. He also made some personal mistakes and paid for them. He knows ALOT about foreign and domestic policy. A very smart guy.

Newt has a new book out. I am sure you can find it at Amazon.com. He is an extremely intelligent man who knows history like the back of his hand. If you actually listen to Newt with an open mind you will find it very hard to disagree with him. Having said all that, I do not think he would be elected President because of the hatred for him from the left. His "Contract with America" led to the takeover of Congress by the Republicans and they will never forget it.
