Well, potty training has been going great. But, now its raining. Will a puppy still go out to potty in the rain? I dont have a covered patio. I hate to have to use puppy pads as I think thats going backwards. What should I do?

They can still go out in the rain. If you still have to be outside with your dog while they go then put on your boots and jacket, otherwise send him outside and wipe his paws on the way back in. Either way they need to learn to go outside - don't give in!

Take the puppy outside. Get it used to the rain; it's going to have to find out about rain sooner or later, and the sooner the better. You don't want to have it scared of the rain.
Use an umbrella if you need to.

Its ok they will go outside even if its raining. i have a dog he does great too. but he has to use a leash

i have the same problem and my dog will not go out even if the wind is making noise they say they learn to hold it i don't know

Well what i do is keep ALL the newspaper I read and save it. I then use the newspaper for the dog to use the bathroom..
