Red x's usually mean the images aren't where they are supposed to be, or they've been removed from where they once were. If you've moved or renamed the images, put them BACK! :)

This happens when you do not allow cookies or have recently deleted all.
I have downloaded information, complete with graphics, and saved to a file. After deleting cookies, when I open the saved file, the graphics have been replaced by red Xs. The only solution I know of is to either allow cookies, or print the document while you still have the graphics.
In Yahoo Mail, Options, General Preferences, scroll down to see if there is a checkmark before "block HTML images." If there is, click it to remove.
I choose to keep them blocked. If I get mail with a picture from someone I trust and I want to open, if you scroll down to the bottom of the e-mail you will see an option to display HTML images. Click it and you will see the pictures from that particular e-mail.

I don't know Heather. My computer pays no attention to me no matter how much I holler at it and "Answers" pays no attention to me either unless I say something wrong. Then I get lots of attention. I'm getting "gun shy" and I've given up on pictures and 360 for the time being. Maybe I'll get back to it one day. Your avatar looks fine.
