I think that you should find some minor thing to mock and make him feel insecure about!
Like you say, everyone has a little hair there. But if you must do something, remember you will need to keep doing it forever. Don't tell my sister I told you, but she felt paranoid about her 'tache' and started shaving it, she never gets pimples but I think itmust grow in thicker because I notice it sometimes now and I never did before.
I think your solution is to get a boyfriend with better manners!

Hi.I hope you don't mind a guy stickin his nose in here but I just had to. The old belief about hair growing back thicker or rougher is a fallacy. If that were true, guys who really wanted facial hair (stupid desire-shaving is a bummer) could start shaving at, say 10 years and have a good healthy beard by age 14. Cosmeticians and scientists have proven that it just isn't true. Granted there are women who find it necessary to shave because they have the inherited gene that produces lost of facial hair. Waxing is painful (that can cause pimple like spots, or "burns") and lasers are expensive and slow. They can only do a small area at a time, and there is no guarantee that the hair won't come back. Honey, I don't know how long you've been with the bf, but just tell him to back off, that you're tired of hearing it. Doesn't sound like he is very sensitive to your feelings and needs. Don't change yourself for anyone. If you are happy with the facial hair you do have then to Heck with every body else. Best to you, Sarge.

Well, if there were nothing there, there'd be nothing for him to comment on. I suppose you do have a certain amount of moustache growth -- most girls do. And it's heavier it'll get over the years.
Whether you decide to do anything about it is up to you -- most guys are OK about women with a slight moustache and it may be worthwhile pointing that out to your bf..
If you do decide you have to do something, then there isn't a simple answer.
Facial (and also body) hair on women comes about in the same way as on men because of
1) your body being sensitized, before you were even born, to testosterone -- doesn't happen to all girls, but does to many
2) your body producing high levels of testosterone
The growth rate and coarseness of the hair depends on just how much testosterone is circulating in your bloodstream.
Steer clear of bleaching -- when someone sees you against the light you'll look as if you have a glowing moustache and/or beard.
As far as removing it is concerned it's worth remembering that
* Waxing, plucking, threading, epilating all pull the hair out by the roots and where the growth is hormonally-driven can actually stimulate a dormant follicle into producing more hair quicker. They also distort the root if done repeatedly, leading to hair growing at strange angles. And you've got to let the hair grow to quite a length before you can repeat the exercise. It can also damage the skin and discolor it. Long-term use of waxing also causes bad wrinkles.
* Chemical depilatories strong enough to remove the hair are very likely to burn the skin, cause swelling and cause long-term discoloration of the skin.
* Laser is also liable to cause burning and discoloration and in any case only works effectively on a dark hair/light skin combinantion.
* Electrolysis is very liable to cause scarring and discoloration of the skin.
Which, like it or not, leaves shaving which does not damage the skin. Best done with a men's-style electric razor, the best of which, for women, are probably those from the men's range of Norelco razors (Philishave outside the US). Most women who try a men's Norelco wonder why nobody ever told them about it before.

I have a license in cosmetology, and I think I can help you! DO NOT shave it! There is a very inexpensive cream at Wal-Mart and other stores that you can buy and it is not at all uncomfortable to use. It is called Surgi-Cream. It is a cream depilatory that you just apply to the area, wait about 5-8 minutes, then use a wet wash cloth and wipe off. There is a cream for you to use after that is included to soothe the skin. It costs less than $10.00 and lasts forever. The hair does not grow back thicker or anything, and as my skin is very sensitive, it works great! Baby smooth! And, you don't have to do it too often. Good luck!

You should wax it or use an epilator on it. Any other method will only cause the hair to come back the very next day. Hair removal creams work the same as razors. They don't remove hairs by the root. They only dissolve the hair that's on the surface. That's a very sensitive area, but I would say it's probably best to wax it. Your skin will eventually develop a tolerance to waxing, but it's going to hurt the first time you wax there. You can wax it, and it will take two or three weeks to grow back again. You don't have to see a professional to get that waxed. You can buy a home waxing kit and wax it yourself. Go to Amazon.com and buy a Gigi home waxing kit.

Waxing your upper lip will cause the hair to come in finer and softer because pulling the hair out damages the root. However, you will need to watch out for ingrown hairs while it's growing out again. You could bleach it so it's not as noticeable or use a hair dissolving product instead. Be careful with the dissolving product - it can irritate your skin and make it red. Whatever you decide to do about this, do not let your bf destroy your self-esteem over something that is normal. What's he going to mock you for next? Having hair on your arms? Take care of YOU and protect your self confidence from unwarranted attacks.

Oh No Same happened when I was 16.. I started bleaching first, then wax.. Now I get threading done.. Which is the best..
It took many years for mine to get"thicker" but just got darker.. now I need to do it once every 6 weeks. I have used all brands.. And have had irritation with all the do it myself removers.. So Your gonna do what you want.. Just remember its a lifetime of maintenance.. Even when you can't afford it,, It has to be done! Even when you have babies... Has to be done! So my point is even after the boyfriend you'll be waxing your lip!!

He might be hinting for you to remove it but doesn't want to outright say it, because he doesn't want to hurt your self-esteem, he kind of wants to put it out there so you make the decision yourself, hopefully in his favor. I've learned that kind of double-talk from my husband, haha.
Shaving it doens't make it grow back thicker, but it grows back faster over time, as I've learned.
I'd use a depillatory cream, one that is approved for facial use, or a wax. If you have some extra cash you can get it permanently lasered off.

Well it's kind of like tweezing your eyebrows.. there are just some things that women do to maintain their beauty :) Yes hair will grow back, you can wax or pluck... its your choice. Although, do it for yourself and NOT your boyfriend... The advantage would be you would have no worries or issues...although you do need to keep up regularly with it (disadvantage).

Dear, if it's your first time, I would suggest consulting with you mom or an elder person.
By the way don't go for those stripts. The best way would be threading, u know the threading they do for ur upperlip n eyebrows in the salon. Hope this helps! N of course, u would have to go to the salon once in two weeks or once in a week depending on the growth of hair. N it's cheap n it's a thing u gotta start one day or later! Good luck!!
