I know this may be hard to do, but I am wanting opinions about my hair. I am a 34 year old, SAHM of 2 young children. I am only 5ft3in and I am a heavy woman, with a round face, green/blue eyes and an olive tone to my skin. Currently, my hair is very long, 1/2way down my back, with bangs. It is chesnut brown(natural) and starting to gray. I wash my hair and brush it, that is all. No style, no heat, no spray or product. Should I get it cut/colored? What color and style? How short? Should a heavy woman have short hair? Doesn't it make her face fatter?

get it colored to remove the grey, and just get some long layers in it to give it some shape
you will still keep your lenght and it w ill still be easy to style, but will make it much more modern

I think that a heavy woman can have short hair.. but not too short. My mom is a larger woman and used to have very short hair and it kinda made her look.. off balance.

I think you should go to a stylist and get something fun.. maybe some red toned highlights or even blond (if you feel it matches you and your personality). Try something around shoulder length that can flip out with a few layers. Good luck!
