You only need to wash your hair when it is dirty - and that will depend on you. If your ends are dry, use a little conditioner on the ends only - with thinner hair you don't want the conditioner to sit on your scalp. Make sure you rinse all of the shampoo/conditioner out. If you want to increase your chances of thicker hair, you should brush your hair every night (to increase blood circulation to your follicles) - and use mousse when you style to give more body to your hair - only at the roots, though. If you use anything heavier or at the ends it will only make your hair look thinner. Good luck!

You should wash your hair at least 3 times a week, not every day or else you natural from your hair won't do what their supposed 2 do.On the days you don't wash you hair, do a rinse off shower for your body. Condition about 2 times a week, just to keep you hair nice and mosturized. Mosturize your hair just like your skin, very often. Try using honey with you conditioner, it really makes your hair soft, and mosturized. If you want to make your hair a little thicker, that would be good. I have thick hair, and it can really affect my body temp in the summer, so don't go to thick.

Well, how often..hmm...well, it depends on your hair, if you have thin hair then you should probably do it every day.

My hair is VERY THICK so i only wash it every other day but dont worry i shower daily. LOL! I only condition once or twice a week.

Shampoo and conditioner in one is probably good for you! For more body you want a shampoo that actually says it is for MORE BODY or VOLUMIZING!

Good Luck and i wish you the best of luck on it.

Wash it every other day that way you dont strip your hair of its natural oils. And follow with a conditioner. The reason for that is when you use a shampoo it acts as if its opening the strands up, and you need to follow with a conditioner to close them, or else your leaving your hair prone and vulnerable to breakage. For thickening yur hair, try a salon quality spray such as Catwalk Root Boost. It works to add body and volume while "fattening up" your strands. On top of that, see if air drying your hair will work for you. It will reduce breakage and wont cause heat damage to your hair. What i do is shower at night and sleep on towel dried hair, which i find also leaves it softer and not frizzy. Good luck!

yes! herbal essences is a great shampoo, hmm well if your hair is greasy i would advise you wash your hair about every 2 days or even more, espesially as your hair is thin, it will be easy for the grease to get round the rest of your head, yes it is a good start to making your hair thicker also try and get your hair trimmed every 68 weeks oops i mean 6-8 weeks lol and try and get 800mg of calcium a day e.g 150g of yogurt 30g of cheese and 250ml of milk

Since you have such thin hair and since your using herbal essences I suggest 3 days not washing it at the *max* You want your hair to stand out and when you have thin hair it's more noticeable that you have clean or dirty hair. I would suggest also to get Dove shampoo because it's stays clean for 4 days maximum. Conditioner is a way to make your hair very soft and fluffy so it is just a matter if weather you would want it for your hair or not. I would recomend it.

If your hair is thin, you should probably stay away from washing it everyday. Instead, wash it every other day. If your hair doesn't get that greasy, then you can last without washing it for around 2 or 3 days.

In order to make your hair thicker, less conditioner is key. Massage your scalp thoroughly when you put the shampoo in, and when you brush it make sure to brush it upside down, that should give it life. I personally only wash my hair every two days, because if I wash it too often it becomes very dry and dead-looking.

Wash it whenever you feel like you want/need to.
Conditioning is important, only if you care if you want your hair soft, otherwise he really dosen`t matter.
SRY- I`m not sure what could make your hair thicker
