Peroxide once-twice a week for 4 weeks.
Put it in a spraying type of bottle(try finding one that mists over your hair)Make sure you lift hair to mist all through it.
Don't sop your hair full of it though. take it easy and make sure that you use a good conditioner...like of for moisturizing or something...you don't want to over dry your mane.
I did it when I was younger 'cause my mom wouldn't let me dye it either.
As long as you don't over do it, your hair will be fine.
Oh yeah, when you spray it in, your scalp may tingle...it's peroxide babe what do you expect! lol Hey! it could be bleach!! No don't do that your hair will end up falling out!!
Hope I helped
p.s.: you can also dilute the peroxide(like 1/2 & 1/2 or
1/4 water-3/4 perox.)

There is a shampoo by pantene proV called Blonde (or silver) Expressions, it has a light coloring effect that is healthy to use and will slowly lighten your hair. My friend used it to change her beach blonde hair into a few shades off platinum, so it really does work, it just depends how long you you use it. The longer, the lighter. Good luck!

sure there is! theres this stuff called beach blonde and you put it in your hair before you expose your hair to the sun (or a hair dryer - heat makes it work too) and it will lighten your hair. you can get it at walmart for about $4 - $5 it does work good though!

The sun naturally lightens you hair. So if you're mom isn't big on die or highlights hang out at the pool a lot or whatever and you'll notice it to lighten up. also when i blow dry my hair it is lighter than when i let it dry naturally.

You can get lemon juice mixed in a spray bottle with water. Shake the bottle and spray on your hair. Then grab a magazine and sit in the sun for a few hours for your hair to become natuarally lighter.

Is your hair light or blonde? Try lemon juice...throw some in a spray bottle and go out in the sun...it should lighten it.

you can try to use some lemon in your hair while you are in the sun. there is a product by john freida and its called beach blonde, its a gel with some lightening product in it as well as lemon chunks. I used it to tone up my highlights and just recently gave it to my mom cuz she is in the bahamas and she cant keep up with lightening her hair.
i dont suggest peroxide, bleach, or sun-in.

Yes, Sun-In. There might be other brands out nowadays. You'll be a bit blonde (or a lot blonde, if you use it a lot). Be careful, though. It dries out your hair very badly, so condition well.

There are a lot of creams that you rub into your hair while youre laying out and it lightens your hair. I'll bet that they have them at a drugstore or Walmart, Target, etc. for pretty cheap.
