The HAI and CHI are the best straighteners out there. The HAI is for people that have a lot of hair to straighten, because its bigger and you can straighten more hair-its faster. The CHI is about $100 depending on where you go. That is what I use everyday and its great. I also use the CHI shampoo, conditioner, and leave in conditioner.

YES!!!Its called Hardcore from TIGI http://www.tigihaircare.com/. The one I have is florescent green and is the same one they use on America Idol! I swear by it. I have had it for 10 yrs now and would not trade it in for anything in the world. If you cant get it on line try the salon locator on the home page. I did have to buy mine directly from my hairdresser. I paid $160 ( I think) and it was worth every penny! If the locator does not work for you just call the company. They are really friendly and very helpful! Good Luck!

Yes, there is the HAI and the CHI, look for them both online...buy them from a reasonable place though. They run from $100-$200, but are well worth it! I spent about $125 on my HAI II in 2003 and love it!! It's the only one that has lasted for me!

I have a CHI straightner but it was about $120 i think. It works well and doesn't fry your hair. I use it every day and I love it.

GHDs are really good, i have had my hair straightened with them at the hair dressers and it stays really straight and soft and i have curly frizzy hair. However, the are quite expensive, around 100 pounds.
