My example is there is no problem with them playing rap music as loud as they want but if white people start playing their music (punk, oi, rock etc.) everyone gets offended. Don't answer if you are offended. I am sorry but I am getting sick of these political hypocrites.

Apparently I'm not showing my point. My point has nothing to do with the music. How about another example. Rodney King. Read up on him and you might understand my point. If a white guy pulls the move he pulled, everyone would be saying they didn't beat him enough. They're looking at Rodney King as the victim. And like I said, if you are offended, then plz don't answer. I am sorry for anything that might offend you, but I am curious. And yes I know white people get away with alot of crap but the crap the other races have gotten away with overrules the white race.

I am not whining. I am stating the obvious. If it doesn't make any sense to you, then maybe you should click back and move on. Slavery had nothing to do with white people being racist. How did we go over to Africa and just pick you up? You were sold.

That's funny. Last I checked it was the other way around.

Everyone cries about "Ebonics" but no one seems to have a problem with people who say "like" every 5 seconds.

Everyone's upset about rap music and say how it promotes violence when no one ever says anything about death metal.

Everyone's always saying blacks are poor and mooch off the system when there are more whites on Welfare than anyone else in the country.

And let's not forget the prison population. Everyone thinks that there are more blacks in prison than whites when in actuality there are more whites in prison than blacks.

And one more thing: Racial profiling. Who gets away with what now?

What exactly are black people getting away with? You bring up rap music and Rodney King, what does that have to do with anything? I guess if you had specific examples then you would actually get decent responses. Who gets offended by rock music except old folks? I could care less if you blast your rock music. It doesn't offend me any, just like it doesn't offend me if someone is blasting rap music. Is it annoying at 2am during the work week? Yes it is, but it isn't offensive. And what about Rodney King? At the end of the day, several police officers nearly beat a handcuffed man to death. What did he get away with? Your question is so broad that no one will ever be able to give you the specific answer that you are looking for. So, again, I ask you.....what are blacks getting away with that white folks aren't?

Pisses me off a bit, but its all about political correctness and the history of the country. Most of the newer generations isn't having that problem though. There is also an image with certian people that Rappers are rich (as they show in each music video) and thats something you don't see in other genres.

In a few years its will be phased out.

Hope this helped

Shut the hell up...Face it, you are a cry baby. You are just on here to start some sh*t. Everything is set up for the white man, but I'm not surprised that people like you are never satisfied. You want more, more, more until there's nothing left for anybody and eventually there will be nothing left for you...then you'll start regressing back to cannibalism.

What are you talking about? Did this happen in your neighborhood? If you are bothered by someone playing loud music, you can call the police. To say that Black people get away with things that White people don't is silly if you're basing your theory on one incident in your own neighborhood.

*So was this a rhetorical question? Do you want an answer or validation?

Rock is a superior form of music. People don't like what they don't understand. Rap is just... rap, easy to understand, kind of cool, though, therefore enjoyable by a larger number of people.
If this is the only thing that black people get away with, then we have no problem.

Double standard.

Black people play the racist card better than anyone, yet they themselves are oneof the most racist groups around.

Lets take the word ****er. They will be the first to admit they use it all the time, but have any other race use it -- it turns offensive.
Yet, how many white offensive words do they use, on the majority?

Ive had black white asian Arab friends, and am one of the least raciast people youll ever meet, yet I can call a spade a spade.

One of the biggest travesties was that college scandal, that you had black people saying how ofensive it was, when you know damn well the only ones that found that offensive were the black die hard ACLU comparable, argue against everything students.

Now they want to ban the N word.
Well if they do that, then they will have to ban the white slurs, the asian slurs, the arab slurs, the lesbian, the midget, the ugly people, fat people, skinny people slurs as well.

A part can argue they were oppressed for so long, but then what minority cannot argue about the oppression theyve endured.

In knowing, in working, in calling black people some of my best friends, I can say blakc people are one of the most racist groups out there on the majority.

Because in the past, especially in the U.S., white people got away with making black people work in the fields and in their homes in exchange for getting whipped if they don't do it. This happened for a looong time. It's just history's way of paying them back for the suffering of their grandfathers and great grandfathers. Your forefathers used to torture them with whips and hardwork, now the law and culture gives them license to torture you with their loud music, among other things (within the bounds of human dignity)

Not true. My bf plays his music loud a lot and he has gotten pulled over by the police for it about three times already. He has even been confronted by a neighbor or two. Just because you haven't seen it happen doesn't mean that it doesn't happen.

'Cuz they's Black, that's why. These days, Political Correctness Rules! And that has washed the starch out of a lot of Americans' spines.

We Americans, of ALL backgrounds, need to reassert our expectations of decent and polite treatment toward one another.
