Here is the suit. I am interviewing for a position as a marketing researcher. I love this suit and it was reasonably priced.

I like the shoes but was wondering if I should wear heels. Can I wear open toe? Should I wear some sort of hosiery? What about makeup and jewelry?

Definitely wear heels. Black pumps or open toe shoes would look nice with this outfit, however, pumps are probably the best choice for an interview. (Wear the open toe shoes after you've gotten the job, as there's nothing wrong with it, just probably not appropriate for an interview). Always wear hosiery with pumps....never wear hosiery with open toe shoes....that's tacky. Your makeup should be natural and jewelry kept to a minimum. No hanging earrings......diamond studs or pearl earrings look professional. Above all else, you must be comfortable.

First I must say, great choice of suit! It's perfect for a job interview. Here are my thoughts on the little things:

Hoisery: I think hoisery is really up to you. I think that the skirt is conservative enough to get away with none at all. If you feel slightly cold (or exposed, as it may be), then wear them.

Makeup: Simple is best. But DO put some on. Go for a nude (slightly pink) lip (i love Lancome lipstick in 'dazzling pink'), then add a thin layer of gloss and blot off any major shine. Use a nice rouge, that makes your cheeks pop but doesn't look different from your natural color. If you wish, add some pretty eye shadow (choose this based on your skin tones). And then all you need is a brush of mascara on the tips of your lashes.

Shoes: I think kitten heels (about 1-2 inches) would be perfect with your outfit. They're low without looking stuffy or old-fashioned. Black is advised. Of course, something like the shoes shown in the picture would look nice, also.

Jewelry: Try a silver chain with a heart charm. Something small and delicate, if anything at all. As far as earrings go, wear silver studs.

Best wishes and good luck!

That's a great outfit for an interview. I don't think you should wear open toed shoes, it isn't really appropriate. But, I do think you can wear heels. Maybe some red or black pumps? Wear some hosiery just in case & keep your makeup light & natural. Also, you could wear pearls-- they'd look really cute with that outfit!!
Good Luck at your Interview!!!

Nice blend between conservative and chic. Heels are fine, not too high, and closed toes. (I know it is an ancient thing from "Dress for success" but my boss enforces it, so ... I like red with conservative colors, but just a touch. Maybe red earrings & belt. earrings should fit the ear, not dangly).
Whatever you wear, the most important thing is that you feel comfortable and feel like you look good in it. And know your company and the job description when you walk in. It'll blow them away if you have manners (please and thank you) and can spell and talk in full sentences. (you'd be surprised).
Act as if you are worth it and they will believe it.

i grew to become into as quickly as an government recruiter for an prolonged time. I hate to be the bearer of undesirable preparation, yet he would desire to have obtrusive some thing he did not particularly look after on your resume. OR he did not think of which you and he "get on nicely" desirable away, OR he had already indentified a extra advantageous candidate till now you. i don't intend to make you think approximately insecure approximately your seems or something- besides the shown fact that's a actuality that persons additionally get grew to alter into off if youin case you're actually not dressed professionally (that involves having your hair and makeup look staggering). Of course, the makeup section is for the ladies. In my information in debriefing hiring managers and applicants, whilst the hiring supervisor facilitates you to pass particularly as we communicate that means they did not think of you have been a in high-quality condition. I continually knew that my applicants were in the strolling if the hiring supervisor stored them in the interview longer than the norm. do not worry; issues ensue for a purpose. Chin up and look after on shifting til the ideal job for you comes alongside. playstation ...the #one million good question you may ask on the tip of any interview is: "Do you have any issues as to why i could not be a likely candidate for this function?" which skill, why i'm I now not ideal? in the event that they have concerns, have faith me, they are going to assist you recognize. then you get the possibility maximum appropriate then and there to triumph over the dilemma (in case you would be able to desire to). jointly as you walk out the door, in the event that they have subject concerns and you probably did not ask it, you will not have the possibility to triumph over it in any appreciate. EDIT: yet yet another poster reported you will desire to not would desire to sell your self. Please do not make that mistake- you will would desire to continuously sell your self and manage to tell a company why they'd desire to hire YOU over all the different applicants!

No open toe.. its not professional...add some nice sophisticated pumps...red or black, a red belt is a classic combination...but if you want to be different you could wear a black blazer, with a purple belt or any "cool" shade of color like blu, or green. hope this helps

the suit is fugly. it looks cheap, but i;d say a white tank top. the kind without spaghetti straps (those look cheap) try to find one that isnt ribbed. shoes: i dont know, slingback mules are hella cute. hair: something that doesnt look like it took you 4 hours to do. i think a ponytale or a bun looks professional. makeup: keep it clean damn it! neutral colors. make it look like you arent wearing any. hosiery is tacky. jewelry: keep it minimalistic. something that goes with that "outfit" eww
