My dad was trying to find help on how to fix a head gasket on a ford puma but wasn't having much look so i was wondering if anyone here knows any good internet sources. He used to be an auto electrician so knows wha he'sdoing but doesn't know much about ouma engines. Pictures of a puma engine stripped would be very helpful also timing belt markings and torc settings on the head bolts. Do you know of any internet sites that can help??

Really he only needs to know the torc settings for head bolt and the timing settings. He knows how to do the rest. Is buying a manual the only way to obtain these or is there an internat source with the same information?

1. 7 zetec engine? buy haynes manual or copy data from belt and auto data books most garages have. machine head use new h/bolts good gasket set (not cornflake packet one) also take the opportunity to fit a complete timing belt kit with pulleys.

depending on what engine is in the puma you will need to be a timing set to lock the crank and cams in position as the crank pulley on some is freewheeling.
once thats done straigtforward head removal, if in doubt let the garage do it.
