I think it is time to get out of Iraq as it is too long

Bush outright lied to the American people. He told us he had evidence of WMD and we went into Iraq only to find out there are not WMD, only the oil that Bush covets. My question is: If Bin Laden is responsible for 9/11, why are we focusing more on Iraq? Bush has used 9/11 as a pretense to continue fighting his daddy's war in Iraq. Just like someone else said, I support our troops and we need to get them out of there. Bush is doing nothing more than causing more and more countries to distrust us and hate America. I read a fabulous bumper sticker that read: Will someone please give Bush a BJ so we can impeach him. It is amazing that Americans cared more when the president was recieving a BJ from an intern than we do now when our president is using a lies, deciet, and an American tragedy to get what he wants.

Iam sorry but the war after 9 11 was about the terrorists in Afghanistan. Bush had to attack Iraq to be a big shot like his Daddy. Now my fellow Canadian brothers are getting killed in Afghanistan doing Bush's dirty work. I don't think even you Americans support Bush. He is killing his fellow Americans for what he thought would be his glory. He made a big mistake and God bless the fallen.

Bush is a moron who's Father won't even talk to him anymore. But, unfortunatly, he is better than any other candidate for President at all. Kerry and Gore would not have been able to lead this counrty at all. When you think about who else could have been in office, he starts to look real good.
As far as the war, its just like Vietnam. We are stuck in a protracted war with no way out because then we will be economically destroyed from the loss of oil. I don't think we should have gone in. We should have assassinated Saddam quietly. We have people trained to do that. We don't know about them, but every Gov. has trained assassins.

People shouldn't fear their governments, governments should fear their people, Lucas.

The war on Iraq was a mistake of immeasurable proportions. There is no telling at this point what may happen in the future as far as terrorism because of this major mistake. It was against international law and international majority to attack yet we did it anyway.

President Bush and Dick Cheney led the charge using their ineptitude to lead us into their own holy war. These men should be but on trial by the American people for crimes against humanity. Its funny how the government has become this machine that is no longer scared of the people. Instead we are scared of them and what they are going to do next. It needs to stop and the only way to change its course is to vote for change in the way of the Libertarian Party.

Back to Iraq. Bush was right. He's not going to end this war on his watch, his children are going to have to fight and his children's children's will end it on theirs.

Although I think the U.S. would be able to pull out in the spring time of 2008 to go to Afganistan (NATO request) or Sudan (Democrat request), I think Bush should veto the spending bill and "apologize for the Democrats" to the troops saying that the Democrats not only wants them to go back to using "hill billy armor," that the Democrats have no intensions of feeding, paying or treating the U.S. soldiers. Also tell them they aren't going home because the Democrats refuses to pay the bills for that too.

I think the "leaving them to rot" speach would put the ball back in the Democrats court to come up with a more proper bill.
