Is it normal for the baby to be awake ALL night but asleep in the day if I'm eight almost nine months pregnant? What does this mean. It just started happening a couple of weeks ago.

I noticed this too, and I think it's because we are less active at night that we tend to notice more that the baby is active, like we are busy doing things during the day and kind of tune the baby out. the baby at this age sleeps and wakes through the whole 24 hr period.

I'm 8 months too and my little guy wakes up about 1 or 2 in the morning and stays up for hours. I think their hours are just turned around. They dont know what time it is unfortunately. My daughter who is two was the same way at the end of my pregnancy with her. It took a couple nights to get her on track after she was born but it worked out. Good luck!!

I am 35 weeks pregnant and my baby does the same thing. I know being active during the day can rock your baby to sleep so that is most likely the reason. I am not sure if she stays up all night though because mostly I sleep through it.

the only time i would worry is if you dont feel any movement. They say that if you are moving it makes the baby go to sleep. Kinda like when you are rocking your baby to sleep. So the baby is more active when you are resting. I belive what you are feeling is perfectly normal.

my Little boy does this too I'm 31 weeks.
i can feel him throughout the day but come bed time he goes absolutely mad its well funny i love it he sometimes wakes me up he kicks that hard.
my partner loves it as he sleeps with his hand on my belly and it really bonds them together to.
