Evan J if you mean it then you've got a fan right here. I was born raised right here in the good ole US of A and even though I am getting a little bit up in age and have a disease that keeps me from doing what I would like to, I would fight for my country and what I believe it stands for until I breathe my last breathe. As the words to the song by Lee Greenwood says and I will only post part - " God Bless the USA" :"If tomorrow all the things were gone I'd worked for all my life, and I had to start again with just my children and my wife, I'd thank my lucky stars to be living here today, cause the flag still stands for freedom, and they can't take that away.
I'm proud to be an American where atleast I know I'm free. and I won't forget the men who died who gave that right to me. And I'll gladly stand up next to you - and defend Her still today cause there aint's no doubt I love this land - God bless the U. S. A."

I am proud to be an American, I am not, however, proud of our current administration and it's actions, as well as most citizen's apathy to everything that is going on. We are the US, we can be doing a lot better in the world than we are.

I served in the U.S.Airforce during the Viet Nam era,and if anyone tries to take my flag down they will have an industrial size can of WHOOP ArSS opened up on them.
