During lent when you are scarificing something something such as tv is it true you are allowed to do whatever waht ever you scarificed on Sunday ( like watch tv), because Jesus rested on the 7th day??

Haha. Nice try. But no. Definitely not. That would defeat the purpose. Too much time and energy would be wasted in anticipation for Sunday. One should never rest when you're doing something for God. And that includes sacrificing something for him.

I have never heard this. I do not believe this is the intent of giving up something for Lent. Lent is about preparing for Good Friday, when we prayerfully remember the struggles and pain that Jesus endured for us. Our fast ends when we celebrate Jesus' resurrection on Easter.

Sunday is the day our Lord rose from the dead, and therefore not a day for fasting and abstaining.

yes it is, the church says that, and on Sundays, you are supposed to be devoted to Christ, especially. that's what u do! and ur right about Jesus on the 7th day.

When you fast, you are actually taking the time to listen to God's plan and to draw more closer to him. You are supposed to give something up to pray more to him.
