it might be hard but i would wait 3 months they can't be angry cuz first of all they don;t know when you found out second of all its the norm for people to wait 3 months until they tell people just incase something happens then its not quite so hard if everyone isn;t asking about the baby all the time and you lost it heaven forbid but most people do wait till 3 months my parents always told me to wait but i got too big too fast

Not sure what state you live in, but Alabama is a "At Will" state, that means that they can fire you for the way you part your hair!!! Sucks I know! I had the same situation happen to me not too long ago... I just started a job an found out I was pregnant... I did not tell them right away... I waited to see if I liked the job and if they liked me... When I was two months along or longer I told them I just found out!!! That is what I would do!

If you had worked there for YEARS, it would not be uncommon to put off telling the boss and the others until you were, at least, 4 or 5 months along. By that time, you will be better 'ready' to discuss this with anyone in the workplace.
By then, you will NOT be a new employee. Besides, if your insurance will cover the baby's delivery, within certain dates, it wouldn't hurt to know when you are due. It is no one's business but yours...................and the father's IF you choose.

My god-sister had this problem..because she had gotten pregnant and now had started a new job at a salon.
She waited until her second trimester to tell her co-works (who responded very well) because of a miscarriage she had previously before.
Her boss told her that she knew that my God-Sister was pregnant the third day she worked there cause she had mentioned blood work and the boss is like what kind of 23 year old goes and gets blood work done, unless you're pregnant? :P
Soo..that's what she did.
They can't really fire you for being pregnant and you didn't know right away when they hired you.

You cant lose your job unless you signed a contract not to get pregnant, and not many jobs require that lol. HOWEVER most places make you wait 90 days for insurance....... if you tell them , it can be listed as a preexisting condition. If you dont have any insurance this could cause you a problem.
I worked with a woman this happened to. She kept her mouth shut until she got the insurance, then went to the dr, and said she thought she was pregnant. It was confirmed the week after her coverage began. they covered her because she " didnt know" until after her coverage began. She hadnt seen a dr yet... Desperate people do what they have to do.....for their children
Most places dont pay maternity leave , they just hold your job for you to return.

I would wait till you go to the doctor and have it confirmed. Then let them know if you are doing something that could put you in danger of losing baby. If not then everything should be fine. They can not fire you because you are pregnant.

legally they cannot fire you for that and if they do, you can sue the company, but personally i would wait until you are like 3 months pregnant to tell him, but of course if your sick and all that, you really have no other choice but to tell him if it is interfering with your work

If you haven't seen a doctor yet I would recommend you go with what Tammer1973 has said, you are going to need your insurance coverage.
