Thats the sell by date not the experation date... you still have about a week before it starts to go bad... so yes go for it... have a drink

Sell by 24th...still actually good for a couple days...I drank milk 2 days old yesterday before I looked at the jug and it was fine. Just make sure it smells ok and drink up

Milk is still good for about 3 days after the sell by date.

That's just the "sell by" date, meaning that's the last day that the store is allowed to sell it. That doesn't mean the milk is expired. You have several days to use it, so drink up!

the expiry date is not the law on milk. Milk goes sour when it is sour... despite the date. I have had milk that was sour a week before it said and milk that I was drinking a couple of weeks past the date. Just smell it.. you will know

I did the same thing earlier this month. It is okay to open it-smell it, and it should be okay to drink some today, but after-please get some fresh milk today, ready for the next few days. Take care.

Most of the milk that I buy is good up to five days after the expiration date. After that, don't even attempt a smell... it might not be too pleasant!

If you haven't opened it, then take it back and tell them you just bought it and it is expired. Or open it and smell it. If it has been sealed , it should be ok. Just drink it. If it's not good, you will not drink it!

I've drank milk after the expiry date. It should be fine. Just smell it to make sure it hasn't gone sour.

Its good 7 days beyond the expiration date. Longer if you keep it @36 F or colder.
