there are many reasons for gas, we all know. the biggest one that we can think of is, of course, beans. STAY AWAY FROM THEM!!! ESPECIALLY REFRIED BEANS!!! that was the worst pain i've had ever!! so. stay away from the refried beans. there are also other foods out there that can cause gas - look on the website for more details cuz i don't even know all of them. i just know that some are green and i don't like eating veggies. hahaa. another way is a subconcious thing we do - swallow air. this also can cause gas and discomfort. so. as for the heartburn, sleep with your head elevated at night. i haven't had a problem with heartburn but occasionally get indegestion which i cure with cottage cheese, a piece of cheese, and my favorite . . . ice cream. so. good luck and congrats on your pregnancy!!!

Chronic heartburn is usually from acid reflux - stomach acid is getting past the little valve and into your esophagus. You also should know some natural ways to treat your heartburn. Learn them here https://bitly.im/aOf5b
The most immediate thing you can do is to stop drinking coffee and cola. Smoking is not good either, but that might be harder to stop. Don't over-eat. Don't lie down too soon after eating. Don't burp too much - this carries acid up with the burp.
heartburn the most common symptom of acid reflux disease (also known as gastroespohageal reflux disease, or GERD). Heartburn feels like a burning pain in the center of the chest. It is caused by acid from the stomach backing up into the esophagus. is a symptom of acid reflux disease (GERD) Also known as Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease

Rotate your upper body in a circle (kind of like bending over and then bending back only in a circle) this will help you get rid of the gas. Also this early you can suck in and push out rapidly and that can help too.

Well in my first pregnancy my doctor prescribed Nexium for my heartburn. This time around I just tried to eat smaller more frequent meals. Plus a way to relieve gas is to set a heating pad on your abdomen. It helps move the gas around.
