I have been feeling very naeseous for the last five weeks. I am very sensitive to smells and my breats are swollen and sensitive. I had a one day period about four weeks ago. I have done four pregancy tests and they all come out negative. Yesterday I was relieved to come on my period but again it has been very light - not even enough for a tampon or pad only enough to dampen a liner. I am still feeling very sick. I have had enough of feeling so poorly. Could I be pregnant or am i going mad?

Thank you for all of your reponses. I have already been to the doctors - three times! The first two times they were convinced I was pregnant and told me to wait. The last time they tested to confirm my negative tests and also got a negative. Doc says am not preg but given no solutions as to what could be causing sickness. Am feeling really upset and down. Don't know what to do...

I personally know people who had the same thing as you where the test was negative and they had their period and it turned out that they were pregnant. If i were you i would just go to you doctor or gyno and have them check for you to set you mind at ease one way or another.

If your period is due, then you can take a test and get an accurate result. If you are not satisfied with the result, go to your doctor and get a blood test done. Good luck!

it is normal to get one false negative but not really 4. If you had a possitive then there is a chance you could be pregnant but as you havent its very doubtful you are as for your period being very light you may have just been very worried about the thought of being pregnant if it stays very light or disapears go to the doctors and ask him to do a blood test just to make sure your hormone levels are what they should be if they are low it will explain why your period is so light next month they may be back to normal and you may bleed as normal

Go see your doctor to figure out what's going on. And until you know for sure pretend as if you are pregnant and don't drink, smoke, etc. Sounds like it could be implantation bleeding. That happens sometimes and it happend to me. The best thing you can to is go see your doctor and have them tell you whether or not you are pregnant.

The rule on pregnancy tests is that they don't give false positives, but can give false negatives.
I suggest you visit the doctor, who will give a blood test that is more sensitive than the home urine tests.

I don't know how old you are, but i have had the same problem since june, i think that it is just the fact that i am getting older and my body is changing (i'm only 25),
