He eats some, but seems to lose interest easily. He ate more 1-2 months ago for me than he seems to now...they always report him eating quite a great deal at day care.

My son does the same, the difference being that I'm a stay at home bfing mom. But he'll eat for his sister's or dad but not too well for me. I did find that he will feed himself so maybe try that. Good luck!

Don't worry, my kid is the same way, always finish her school lunch, but not eatting much at home, and just can't figure out what she likes.

One of the thing I find out is that if I feed her, she will eat more, and nothing else at home to distract her. We must all sit at the table and eat together.

He's filling up at daycare. Really most toddlers eat best at breakfast, lunch and snack and skip dinner.

And if you are breastfeeding it isn't at all strange that he prefers nothing but your milk when you are around.

Give him the spoon and let him try for himself. My friend had the same problem and she gave him the spoon and he did better trying for himself. Even if you just give him the spoon to hold and feed him yourself
