Some kids don't crawl much and seem to go straight to walking; my son was this way.

Usually between 7 and 9 months, some are early and some are late. My son started crawling at 6 months, but my friend's baby never crawled. She was so chunky that she could never get her belly off the ground. At 11 months she started walking even though she had never crawled. Every baby is different - and they will all become mobile in their own perfect timing!

Every kid's unique. My 22 yr. old went from sitting to standing; totally skipped the crawling phase. She was standing, holding on to the coffee table at 7 1/2 months; fully walking by 9 months. In stark comparison, my 6 yr. old might have crawled at 8 months, but didn't walk until 16 months. Go figure! Time will tell. Peace out! "CaliModel" >>>> (ps..I have 5 - ages 6 to 28.)

Usually at about 7 to 9 months. My baby was able to crawl at 8 months, but it just depends on the child.

Baby sits up average 6 months, stands and walks around 12 months, and crawls (sometimes backwards to start with) at around 9 months.

some babies start in around 8 months, others it takes longer...
Some are advanced, like my brother who skipped crawling and starting walking around holding onto furniture at 5 months old.

normally, the standard age would be 6 months(earliest). for my baby, he started crawling on this 7 months. ;)

it all depends on the baby. is it first or second?? my nephew started at 7 months and my daughter started at 8 they were both firsts... but my son started at 11 months cause his sister would get everything for him and he didn't need to move. just be patient it will happen and then you'll be wishing they were still just for a second!!!
