is it okay if i am just doing a little bit of tips at the bottom of my hair? not at the scalp..so is it okay? i'm just bored and i don't have money to buy expensive bleach for my whole head. i'm not palnning to do my whole head, anyways.

It is a really bad idea. My brother did this in high school and he ended up with burns on his scalp, neck, shoulders and back from the bleach. He was only planning on doing the tips of his hair and he ended up in urgent care. If you are bored try to find something else to do or you'll end up with a big medical bill. Sorry!

NOOOOO, try peroxide instead house bleach really doesnt work it just dries the crap out of your hair
FYI Peroxide will damage your hair too but not as much and if you want it to lighten up faster apply heat like from a blow drier and it will speed it up. Also Sun In is pretty cheap and it works

No, dingbat ! Household bleach is toxic. It would do untold damage to your hair. Go to a beauty supply house and buy a bottle of peroxide - it doesn't cost that much - Seriously !

try lemon juice in your shampoo it should have the same effect as sun in but has less chemicals bleach will eat your hair

i agree with her, try peroxide. But bleachink kits dont cost that much, most are 3$ :D
