I am 13. I had my first period waaay back in mid-May. I didn't have it again until September, or somewhere around that time. Then I began to have it regularly. After about three months of regular cycles, I started to skip a month in between. And now I haven't had my last period since January 18.

I am not sexually active, but I have been masturbating.

Could this be some sort of infection, or is it just normal? (because I know my cycle won't be normal for a year or two)

My mom DOES know that I haven't had my period since January. She also believes that my cycle will eventually even out.

I just wanted to make myself feel better, if you will.

Right now your body is trying to adjust to the changes going on inside so irregular periods right now are normal.

I would also recommend talking to your mom about this so that she can be aware of what is going on.
