Two people making love. I think it would be less traumatic to a child, and it's a natural activity. It's easier to explain to a child why people have sex, than it is to explain to a child why people kill eachother. We adults don't even understand why people kill eachother.

Whew....I can`t believe people who said killing. Are you crazy? Americans have one sick mixed up society.
I have a little daughter and of course want to keep her protected for as long as possible....and am really careful about what she sees and knows about. I don`t let her watch the news or violent cartoons and I am really careful about her not seeing the other.
HOWEVER...if I had to choose between these two, of course it would be better for her to see someone making love than someone being killed (obviously not rape though....which is all about violence as well)
This doesn`t mean that I am going to let her see anything like that in the near future!! I am just glad that I live in a peaceful society where she is not confronted by traumatic events everyday...we should all spare a thought for those children who are not so lucky.

Neither.
Children under the age of 12 shouldn't watch anything except educational, historical and animal shows. And, only for a couple of hours in the evening - between 600PM and 800PM - with the family.
After school, they should go out and play and do chores, set the table for dinner, clean up their room, do homework.
The only time kids should be able to watch TV is on Saturday mornings for the REAL cartoons not the animated garbage they have on today.
TV is one of the things that is wrong with our children. Parents use the TV as a baby sitter.

I don't have any children to its hard for me to decide, and i have seen both
the most scarring was the making love one. The killing one seemed like something that is more realistic, and i am more of a realist, so for me, killing, even though i don't like killing (obviously)

Killing each other, the child will start going around making out with other kids and making "make-out" noises. But if the kid watches killing each other the kid is least likely to actually do it.
Bottom Line: The kid only needs lips to Make-Out, but he needs to somehow find a gun and know how to use it.

killing since in this country its hard to tell what is real of fake. I would think it would be about as bad as the news. However, sex is something that takes away the innocence of a child. I would prefer to have them see something that is explained away easily.

That is a really tougt question to answer! I guess it would depend on their ages.....probably have them watch them making love, which is usually a positive thing. I would be uncomfortable having them watch either.

This is an unreasonable question. Any decent parent would not allow a child to watch either. Both are objectionable

Making love, as long as its tastefully done, with no actual explicit content. Love's better than death.
