As mentioned there are several reasons why your period may be late. Pregnancy and stress are the biggest reasons. And if you are stressing about your period being late and a possible pregnancy that can cause your period to be even later.
If you have taken test and gotten negatives but still aren't certain go to your dr and get a blood test. That is typically more reliable. But know that too can be wrong so you may want to try again in a couple weeks.

It sounds like your period is just late and you are not pregnant. Since you tested twice already and you are 2 1/2 weeks late, you should have enough hcg in your urine to test positive, if you were pregnant. The best thing to do is wait and see if your period comes in a week or so. If not then either test again or go to your doctor's office and get a blood test which is more accurate. In the meantime (even though it's not a sure-fire way to tell) try and notice if you get any pregnancy symptoms like nausea, dizziness, etc.

You are probably not pregnant, but if you are really concerned you can go to the doctor and they will give you a blood test which is even more accurate than the urine tests you can take at home.
If condoms are all you are using you may want to consider another method as well...they are not 99% effective.
Theoretically, if a condom is used consistently and correctly, it should prevent pregnancy 97% of the time. The actual effectiveness among users, however, is only between 80% and 90%. This is due to:
Occasional rupture of a condom during intercourse
Semen spilling from a condom during withdrawal
Waiting too long to put a condom on the penis (penis comes into contact with vagina before condom is on)
Break in condom due to manufacturing problems (rare)
Failure to use a condom during each act of intercourse
Good luck!

By rights if your period is late a pregnancy test should really dectect if you are pregnant or not, the best thing is a blood test see your GP he will be the best person, he might do their dipstick test in your urine then take a sample of blood, but i wouldn't worry if you have had safe sex maybe your a little worried or stressed
good luck

Ask your Dr if you can go for a blood test. I was 21 days late for my period...But not pregnant...I just found out recently that it is possible to actually miss a period.

I once missed my period for two months. No idea why. So, relax. If you've had protected sex, you are probably not pregnant... plus two tests verifies that. A late period or irregular period is nothing to worry about unless it happens frequently.

Some women never get a positive HPT result, but get positive blood test results. If you are really concerned you should see your Dr. and request a blood test just to be sure. If you are not pregnant they may be able to help you figure out why you are late.

hmm. I'm 2 weeks late and my doctor sent me for a blood test. I'd test again first thing in the morning. If still negative, set up a blood test Monday.

Go to the doctors and get a blood test done. That will tell you if you are pregnant. It could also be stress that is causing you to miss your period.
Good Luck.

well, you probably aren't pregnant. but, there is a chance. when you take pregnancy tests they're detecting a level of the hormones in your system. sometimes early on in pregnancy your body levels of that hormone are too low to detect. don't stress out - because that could make it not come, too!
talk to your doctor - they can do a blood test that's more sure.
