Any wives tales about finding out the baby's sex? Or any other?

My older sister said to dangle my wedding ring on a string over my tummy. It's suppose to twist if it's a boy and not twist if it's a girl. I don't know what else, but it sounds like something silly and fun to do. I guess. I really feel silly today.

Pee in Drain-o. If it turns pink, its a girl, blue is a boy. It doesn't actually work, I actually tried it and it turned GREEN! lol

Well, I heard of one. Dangle a threaded sewing needle over your belly. If it moves in a line back and forth...it's a boy...if it goes around in a circle...it's a girl!! I also heard if you use the same method over your hand it will tell you what u will have if you ever get pregnant. Also if it goes like : circle, line, circle....u will have 2 girls and a boy. Kinda fun to do really..lol....Not sure on the accuracy though!
My father also told me that u can determine the sex by family history. For example, if a man has a son for his first child, it is very likely for the son to produce a boy when he has children. Kinda like history repeating itself. In a few cases...I have seen it happen. I know a man who's father had five children. Boy, Boy, Boy, Girl, Girl. When he began to have kids, he had: Boy Boy Boy Girl!! So I guess sometimes it works!!
And for me, my father, and my ex's father's first child was a girl...and that is EXACTLY what I had....Weird, huh? But..with any method, there is a 50/50 chance...so the odds are pretty even!

I think the ring theory goes if it moves in a circle its a girl and if it just swings back and forth then its a boy. Also, if you carry high then its a girl and if you carry low its a boy. (This was true for my family because my sister and mother carried high and they only had girls while I carried really low and had a boy!) I've also heard that if your beauty seems to be fading (more pimples, pregnancy mask, splotchy skin, etc.) then its a girl because she is taking on your beauty. I don't knwo if those help or not. ever heard of a needle on a string, with the needle stuck inside the eraser of a sharpened pencil? after doing that you have someone steady the pencil on your inner wrist,then slowly lift the pecil so that it does not move and wait. and if it swings the length of your arm its a boy cross ways a girl. but if you have other children it should go down the line and tell all of them!(also will circle in between babies)

With the pendant, if it moves side to side the wives tale says boy and if it rotates in a circle its supposed to be a girl.
I have tried every old wives tale and they all said girl, except for the pendant, which said boy.

Look at the sonogram (i think that's it i forgot) if the baby's legs are crossed it's most likely a girl, if the legs are wide open it's most likely a boy. It worked with my aunt's baby, we were guess by looking at the sonogram and I said a girl cuz the legs were crossed and it was!

well im carrying high and its heart rate is 138 something like that...and the doctor says its girl :)
