First of all I am 2cm and 60% effaced and I lost my plug last week. Now just a minute ago I went to the restroom and had alot of discharge with red in it. basically bloody. Is that the bloody show? Does that mean labor is close? Please share your experiences.

The bloody discharge isn't bright red but a brownish red like it might be older. Does that make a difference?

well it sounds like it's the bloody show. if you're 2cm and 60% you're probably pretty close to going into labor. call the hospital or dr office to double check. other than that - relax, drink lots of water, have something to eat because once labor pains start you won't really want to eat or be able to keep food down.

here it comes! congratulations!!!

that is in all risk only your physique making waiting. I used to oftentimes get such soreness each few days from 37 weeks onwards yet in basic terms went into labour at 40+4. save a watch on it and if it gets worse, supply the scientific institution a decision. What I constantly say is you will comprehend once you're in labour because of the fact the only way you would be waiting to handle the contractions is to get down on your hands and knees and scream!

You should call your Dr. They may have you come in for a pelvic exam. I was 2cm and 80% for 3 weeks! and I lost my mucus plus at 37 weeks. I had my son the day before his due date and I was induced. Good Luck.

Yes there are tiny capillaries in your cervix that start to burst when your plug dislodges and/or you begin to dilate. This means that labor is coming soon...Try to relax and get as much rest as you can NOW...you won't have any more for at least 18 years!!!

Yep darlin! You should call your Dr. just to let them know. I'd say you'll be in labor within 48 hours or sooner!!! If you don't have everything packed you better go do it right now!!! Good luck and Congrats!

Yup should be any time now...And by any time I mean within 24 hrs.
I woke up one morning with some spotting (8am) went to the hospital. They monitored me and sent me home around 10 a.m and told me to come back at 3pm. (I was supposed to be induced that day) and at 11am. my water broke so back to the hospital I went.

Some things are serious...like Labour. So instead of asking people in here, when every pregnancy and everyone is different, call your doctor or call the health clinic and see what they say.

I would just call your doctor and let them know what is going on and see what they suggest you do.

I wouldn't put the health of your baby or yourself in the hands of people on here no offense to anybody. We are not doctors.
