I drive a '99 VW Beetle. I went to walmart, but they needed a "star wrench", and did not have the proper tool to change the light. Where should I take it that would be cheap? (i know walmart would have charged around $5)

Buy a "star wrench" and fix the light yourself. You don't know how simple changing a light can be.

i own a shop and you can go to advance auto parts and get a cheap set of star tools and change it your self, you wont save any money this time around on it because of buying the wrenches but maybe next time you will,or you can have a repair shop do this for a few bucks which is probably a lot better this time around.good luck i hope this helps.

You can purchase this tool for about $4 and unscrew the lightbulb and replace it easily.
