What disease or condition causes a burning sensation after sexual intercourse for both partners (man and a woman)
that subsides after about an hour? Excluding STDs.

Yeast infection. If you had it, the the friction will cause you to have the burning sensation, and the guy would feel the effects since you did give it to him. Could also be an allergic reaction to latex if you're both allergic to condoms. And KY Jelly can also be the cure to that - if you were dry, had no time for foreplay, or tense, then yep. It's gonna burn, baby. If any of the above doesn't help, then go to a gynecologist (spelled wrong?) and ask them.

So, basically you had sex and it burned. I really don't think a disease state would present like you are describing. Might I recommend some lubrication? I'm being serious, no joke. It's either that or you already know what it is and want hope it's something else. KY works really good just so you know.

You could just be suffering from painful sex without enough lubrication. Lubrication is the glue that holds the sexual world together. :D Perphaps also a urinary tract infection...

Ooh! Perphaps you're both allergic to latex if you use a condom. If you don't use a condom, then shame on you!

I would not exclude STDs and not sure why you think it is not. Use a condom and see if it happens then but I think you should both go to the doctor and get treated together.

Could be a yeast infection. Go to this web site and maybe you can find out. Is it just after sex? It has a place you could put in yeast infection and see what the symptoms are.

This one is tough to answer with it causing burning with both of you. I wonder if it is the latex , or maybe a reaction to a lubricant.

Yeast infections, certain STDs, latex allergies, and not enough lubrication.

I wouldn't know but I would just say go to a docter he is the only one that can tell you for sure if it is a serious condition.

I have read recently that you could be allergic to your man's sperm. Or, it could be the friction, and not enough lubrication for you both to be comfortable.
