Hello everyone...I would like to tattoo my name and my daughter's name in Arabic since her father is Syrian but we can’t find a good site that can translate both names…HELP. Does anyone know how to translate in ARABIC? Our names are:

Miryam or Miriam

Yasmin

Miryam,Miriam=Mary and in Arabic it is : مـريـم
Yasmin=a name of a flower : يـا سـمـيـن
But for a tattoo you need to have it written in a calligraphy style not just a computer letters....if you need help in that,contact me at

Miryam is :ميريام. It is not the same as Maryam: مريم.
Yasmin is: ياسمين. Which means Jasmin.
Remember to have them tattoed from right to left.

Both of the names are Arabic

Miryam = مريم
Yasmin = ياسمين

Spelling of Miryam and Maryam is the same.
Miryam translates into English as Mary and yasmeen is jasmine (flower)

Please remember they write from right to left, not the other way around!

Oh, by the way, check to see if you've installed the Arabic Language pack on your computer with the MS XP OS that you're running, otherwise, you'll see wierd symbols where the Arabic script is.

There are no arabic names like yasmin
Yasmin is an Iranian name.
