i want to do a science fair project about hard water but i dont know what kind of test to do with it.

I want to do a science fair project about.hard water as in like ground water or something. it makes ur shower all like rusty or something. but i dont know what to do.

Idea 1: Hard water is signified by non-lathering or very low lathering of soap.
So, you can compare and contrast the bubbling effect of soft water against that of hard water.
Idea 2: Softening of water can be demonstrated.

Order some rapid biking Brassica rapa from Carolina organic and organic grant or wisconsin rapid plant life. The plant's entire existence cycle is purely 30 days. The seeds will sprout in some days, and are mature in 2 weeks. that's the classical plant sort for botanical analyze.

you could use different kinds of metals to see which one would rust faster in hard water thats what my sister did and she got to go to some science fair thing for the coolest projects

Punch regular water with left hand, and hard water with right. Prove that the hard water is hard by comparing the damage to the hands.

hard water as in ice?
i would try.. something about phase changes such as vaporization, metling, and stuff like that. Also show different ways of how the phase changes occur (fire, sunlight...)
