First question do you want this for a temporary fix ?Or for longer period. How short is your hair now determines rather you have enough hair to hide the extensions. There are several extensions out there.Clip on , weave(braided) Fusion (kertian glue) the list goes on and depending on the method you choose determines the cost , you could be anywhere from 300-1600. But make sure when you go to a professional she or he is experienced and has photos of clients before and after and has done several heads .Extensions done properly will not damage the hair but ,in the wrong hands can be a disaster. If you are going for a temporary look go with the clip ons it will be a lot less expensive maybe 100 to 120 depending where your buying and if it is human or synthetic hair. Now with the other extensions fusion and so on it has to be human hair.Synthetic hair will get fussy and the glue on method will not work with synthetic hair.Hope this helped.

I would suggest not getting hair extensions because it is very unhealthy for your hair. It is also very expensive. I would personally go on the internet and find some cute hairstyles for prom night, that of course looks great with shorter hair. There should be alot of different stlyles to choose from. You can print them out and show them to close freinds and family and ask them to help you choose. I know this is short, but might as well make it short and to the point than adding any excessive detail.
I hope you have a great night at prom!

Your hair will look great with extensions, but, it'll break your hair. It is quite bad. What you should do is buy clip-in extensions. This way, you can take them out easily without doing any harm to your natural growing hair. Sure, prom is a once in a lifetime thing, but, getting extensions is REALLY pricey.
I sure do you hope you find a solution!!

Hair extensions really ruin your hair. I would just go to a hair dresser, she can show you differant styles you can do with the hair you have now. or play around in the mirror or even buy a clip on, but i would stay away from extensions, good luck

the weave ones that celebrities placed on smash your hair. they pull on the hair and flow away you with bald patches - see the %. of victoria beckham. additionally they are very costly, even although do stay in for longer than the different type of extension. the glue in ones are extraordinary. I easily have had them for over 2 years and that they've easily HELPED my hair to advance! i had them put in consistently for extra or less 3 months and my hair replaced into two times as thick while i eventually took them out. my hairdresser (who's additionally a tricologist) mentioned that is on account which you're actually not waiting to get suitable to the inspiration while brushing, washing, straightening and so on so your roots are waiting to advance in a fashion they would not in any respect oftentimes be waiting to. they might desire to be redone on usual each 2 weeks yet they are low priced and a collection will final a pair of three hundred and sixty 5 days in case you take care of them. whether, continuously have them put in via a expert and dont attemp;t to do them your self or getting a chum to do them. that's how ppl smash their hair with extensions. the clip in ones might pull your hair out slightly yet as they are straightforward to eliminate and come out on the tip of every day they don't look to be going to do plenty long term injury on your hair. they dont look as solid or as real because of the fact the different 2 types although and you will possibly be able to oftentimes tell while somebody is donning them.

you can go to a hair stylish and make an appointment and say I'm getting extensions they will tell you the price an tell you the supplies you will need. but all you will need is hair make sure you get 100% human hair and make sure it is your color you can get all those supplies at your local beauty supplier and make sure you ask them what color you will need at the store
PS : if the right person does your extensions they will not leave you with a bald spot and they will not cost $500 mabey $100 but with you ,that is all it will usually cost and make sure it is human hair and make sure they sew it in and not glue it in
