nada. nappy hair stays nappy! you cant change what the good lord has blessed you with unless you use some chemical fire (perm) cream.

Honestly, thats a good question, all my childhood years,i had very straight, thin, stragley hair,I got a perm when I was 13,and for some reason, after a few years, got really thick, and is still curly to this day, with never another perm,im now 27,so its been long enough for the perm to go away.I dont know that the chances are wonderful. But I would disagree on the folicle and genetics being the cause,I have 2 boys, who had very cute curly hair,my hubby decided to shave it,and it grew back perfectly straight, this was 7 years ago,and its still straight. But it could be just a thing I guess.

Straight and Curly hair is caused by genetics. No matter what you do it'll stay curly, its a myth just like shaving your arms will make the hair grow in thicker. Sorry!
Try a relaxer or blowdry straight and curl with heat rollers (it'll cause a wave)!
Sorry to break the news to you kollette, Curly and Straight hair is determined through genetics xD

Hair is curley or straight because of the shape of the hair folicle. shaving it does not change the shape. Sorry babe

It will remain the same texture, but the longer you grow it, the curl pattern will loosen up.

Not very good. Your hair's curl is genetic and shaving doesn't change that.
