Well, you could use a gun, or hire a hitman ... but both are illegal.
(You didn't say what you want to delete them from)

Right click on thier name in the messenger list and choose delete. Once you've deleted them go to messenger menu, preferences, ignore list, click add and enter the screen name and then click appply and ok. this will keep them from messeging you again.

Left click on his name, then when it is highlighted, left click, and choose delete..
