i received an email claiming i am a reciepent of 100 people to receive money as a donation. i was randomly selected by purchasing something on the internet.. by a catholic church in italy.. am i being scammed..

Scam for sure. The Catholic church uses any money it has for more lucrative investments and people more in need. They would not volunteer money simply because someone purchased a product online

Um yes! Don't trust anyone that claims they are going to give you money "just because".....150% of the times they are just scams.
