Yes, like almost any other teeny bopper mall store, they're pricy. As it's been said, the cut up grungy look can be done from clothes from other sources, like thrift stores. Besides, it's silly to pay more than necessary, especially if every other, or every third girl at school might be wearing the same thing or something similar. At thrift stores, you can get more unique stuff.

I think Hot Topic is over priced, out of date and disgusting. Everything they sell there you can buy at Wal-Mart for cheaper, cut the jeans and put your own inserts and BAM it looks just like what you get from Hot Topic for A LOT more cost! Save your money and make the clothes look crazy yourself! I knew a LOT of ummmm for lack of better word "freaks" when I was in High School who do this. They save money and their parents don't care that they're expressing their "artistic ways" with their clothing.

On most of their items, yes... but if you want to order clothes... Seriously consider ebay. You can find just about anything you want on there... and most times for half the price, and a lot of times brand new and custom made.

Yeah, most mall stores are. Just get stuff at those stores that are staples or you absolutely love and buy everything else somewhere else.

if your saying that band tees then yes. one saosin shirt is like 21 dollars. but i guess it b/c its from the band merchandise so yea. and any band lover would buy anything w/ their fav band on it. so you wouldnt understand uless you shop their. but yes its expensive
