I'm trying to make my own website, and not from any search engine. How do you make your own website without using a site host or a search engine? I know it's possible, there's millions of sites like that.

I think you need to learn a little more about it. I'm studying XHTML and CSS right now just so I can do the same thing. I'm nowhere near there yet, but here's something I do know....
You DO need a web host (what you call a site) host. No one can access your page without it, unless you're going to set up your own server and/or FTP path. You're right that you don't need to be listed on a search engine, but I can't imagine why you wouldn't want to be.

BTW, Freeweb and Geocities ARE web hosts, even though they are free.

You'll will need to learn HTML, or you can use some software like Frontpage or Dreamweaver to build webpages. And once you have them, you buy a domain name and some server space. You upload your pages there and thats it. IF you don't want to spend money, you can use a free uploading site like yahoo geocities.
