Turkey is usually lovely in May - very green, not too hot, not too crowded. Definitely shorts and "t"-shirt weather, though the sea might still be a bit chilly.

Not in early May because it's still too cold to swim. Most people even in the south of Turkey don't swim until mid or late June.

hey, im going to Antalya on this saturday (24 March) and probably ill go to swimming, too :)
if u dont like too hot like 30-35 Celcious degree, u can come in early May to south or southwest coasts of turkiye, it will be about 20-25 C degree, i think...

It's worth going anywhere. Travel is great, so go for it!
Well, if Russians can swim in those frosen lakes and rivers in winter, why wouldn't you have a dip in May?

For sightseeing maybe not so bad, but for swimming I'd recommend later, e.g. June - October.
