(guapo/a = handsome/beautiful)
Just one thing: "hermosa" is more formal than "guapísima", which is colloquial.

OK, I'm a Hispanic so I can tell the right spelling is: güapÃsima.
It means: "The most beautiful", this is it's direct translation from Latin, but in present spanish it means "very beautiful one". This is also the adjective for a female noun, for male it would be "güapÃsimo".
Pronunciation is something like: gŵæpîssimæ

In this case Caicos is right. It has an accent though, doesn´t mean hot at all and has no diaeresis as somebody else says.

yes it is, it means very beautiful. if it were only guapa, then that would mean beautiful. The "isima" adds to how beautiful the person being described is. Tu eres guapisima!!!

I believe it to be more of a slang spanish word. It is talking about a girl being HOT! Looks wise that is. It would be pronounced Wap-e-see-ma. Hope that helps a bit.
