First, I'm a 15 year old guy.. Every morning after having a bath/shower I dry my hair with a towel (can't leave it to dry naturally as I have to leave pretty soon after) and then just leave it, but it looks so messy and just different to other people at school. I don't like to use styling products due to long term effects on hair, but I also know other people who don't use styling products who have hair that looks fine.
But the texture on my hair looks so different and it is embarassing and even some people have mentioned it to me!
I think it is down to how I dry my hair with a towel, and maybe what I should do after.. I don't like to use a comb as even that is "out of fashion" and doesn't look good..
Hope you can help.

Most of you suggest using a hair dryer.. But I tried using one and my hair just looked even funnier, maybe I don't know how to use it right?
What shampoo would you recommend as I usually have greasy and danddruffy hair, until I started using Neutrogena which cut it right down..

Try washing your hair every second day rather than every single day. You wash out the natural oils if you do it every morning, which is why your hair texture is different. You might also need to use a conditioner to get the frizziness down. Also, after you towel dry your hair, try combing it with a wide tooth comb into the style you want. It'll keep your hair looking loose, but will still give it some shape if you don't want to use any products.
In the end, your hair is only going to look as good as how much effort you put into it.

Your hair will be fine in the long run as long as you use good styling products and wash them out with good shampoos that don't strip your hair of natural oils and use good conditioners that don't add unnecessary oils to your hair.
It may be worth going to talk to a hair stylist the next time you get a hair cut and asking for an opinion...
The number one thing to look for are products with the least amount of alcohol in them... at least that's what i was told years ago - I'm sure there are some good websites out there. Don't be afraid of styling products though!
And if you want to blow dry your hair, grab a bottle of BioSilk silk drops (or something to that effect, not sure of the exact name anymore). Put a few drops in your hand and run through your hair before drying and your hair will feel awesome and it will prevent heat damage

you should attempt Paul Mitchell - they have a clean 'show type' line it fairly is geared in the direction of getting swifter drying consequences (i think of the product you prefer is observed as rapid Slip, around £8-10 from salon that inventory Paul Mitchell). additionally be certain you tough dry your hair as much as conceivable till now blow drying. working example - towel dry, prepare products, dry extra or less making use of purely hands and dryer till 80% dry, then use a broom with the dryer to soft slightly, and finally use straighteners. Or probable miss out the blow drying entirely! i comprehend it sounds weird and wonderful however the straighteners we use now are plenty extra efficient and might fairly straighten even the main frizzy, tough dried, hair!

Honey, quit being stubborn, lol.
Wake up a bit earlier, and blow dry your hair.. but towel dry it as much as possible as blow drying can dry your hair out.
It'll make your hair easier to work with. I don't think you need styling products.
Ask your friends what shampoo they use, it might have something to do with your shampoo. Tresemme works wonders on all hair types, and is inexpensive.
Paul Mitchell products work great too.
Good luck

use a blow dryer. unless you are growing your hair long any damage you do will be cut off.i have waist length hair and have to blow dry near my head because it takes a day to dry by itself. plus when you dry your hair with a dryer, you can train it to do what you want.
